Applications for utility relief are now available for large employers in the incorporated town limits of Culver for the months of March, April and May.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist previously told the Culver Town Council members that the relief program application and qualifications are similar to that of the small business relief program presented earlier in the year, but it will benefit companies that employ 50 people or more or government entities. Members of a subcommittee will then look at the applications for a recommendation to the town council.
The maximum award will be $4,500 or the total of the three bills for the months outlined in the application, whatever cost is less.
Leist said last week that the application is now available on the town’s website. Company officials can apply through Oct. 6. The council members will review the recommendations of the subcommittee at their Oct. 14 meeting and grant funds to qualifying applicants.
