The Culver Town Council members voted to extend the moratorium on utility shutoffs through mid-August.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist told the council on Tuesday night that Governor Eric Holcomb extended the moratorium on shutoffs for utilities and late fees earlier this month and wanted the town’s order to reflect the decision at the state level.
The moratorium is in place until Aug. 14.
The council members will reevaluate the moratorium as the state updates its information.
