Marshall County Commissioners Extend Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration

For the seventh consecutive week, the Marshall County Commissioners approved a Public Health Disaster Emergency Declaration on Friday.  It expires on Friday, May 15.

The first declaration was announced on March 20 when it was the decision of the commissioners to close all county buildings to the public.  The county buildings have now opened to the public, but officials are asking that masks be worn while conducting business inside the facilities.  Anyone who is sick should stay home and call the office to take care of any business.

The declaration urges all Marshall County residents to comply with emergency procedures and follow any measures that are enacted.

The declaration also allows the county to be eligible for reimbursement of funds used in the response to COVID-19.
