Officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday that lane closures between mile marker 216 and 218 to install a Weigh-in-Motion system on U.S. 31 in Argos are postponed. New dates have not been announced.
In the meantime, lane closures on State Road 10 in Argos are scheduled beginning on Thursday, April 9 at 7 a.m. for patching and preventative maintenance. The closure will be on the section of State Road 10 from the east side of U.S. 31 to Juniper Road. The work is expected to continue through mid-July.
INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
