MCCF, United Way Accepting Disaster Relief Donations

Officials at the United Way of Marshall County and the Marshall County Community Foundation will be deploying the Disaster Relief Fund in an effort to respond to the needs of the community.

The Disaster Relief Fund was initiated in 2018 to help residents during the flooding event and it will be put into session during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Donations to the Disaster Relief Fund will assist non-profit organizations as they experience a greater demand for services they provide to families in need.

Contributions may be made through the United Way website at www.marshallcountyuw.org/covid19.  Checks can be mailed to the Marshall County Philanthropy Center at 2680 Miller Drive, Suite 120, in Plymouth.  Make sure “Disaster Response” is in the memo line on the check.

In the meantime, for questions regarding food, childcare, housing and utility assistance, or mental health services call 211.
