Argos Utility Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom wants to purchase a new truck for the Wastewater Department.
He told the Argos Town Council the current truck is about 15 years old and it’s showing wear and tear including rust. It’s a single-cab truck. He said he hopes to trade it in with this purchase.
He wants a four-wheel drive truck with a snow plow package. If one of the other trucks breaks down, there would be another one available to push snow.
Lindstrom is going to look more into the situation and report back to the town council in a future meeting.
