Interviews are ongoing to find the next Culver-Union Township EMS Director.
Culver Town Manager Jonathan Leist said interviews have taken place and plans are to report back to the town council concerning that position at the next meeting on Monday, Dec. 30.
Outgoing Culver-Union Township EMS Director Kathy Hart announced her retirement in November. Her last day will be in January.
According to the employment notice, the EMS Director supervises the on-duty EMS staff, maintains and develops the current EMS Delivery System, and acts as a role model and mentor for the staff.
The director is required to work 48 hours per week on the first-out ambulance with the starting salary at approximately $48,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits are also offered. The application deadline has passed.
