Plymouth School Board to Appoint Lincoln Junior High Assistant Principal Tonight

The Plymouth School Board is expected to name a new assistant principal for Lincoln Junior High School tonight. The position became vacant last month, when Craig Hopple was appointed principal at Menominee Elementary.

The school board will also consider updates to the classified conditions of employment and the employee handbook. School safety and security will be discussed, and an updated emergency plan will be up for board approval.

Board members will hear updates on the Alternative High School program, as well as the construction of the new Lincoln Junior High School. Agreements with Michiana Behavioral Health and Presence Learning will be considered, along with agreements with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center for nurses and an athletic trainer. A number of policy updates will be presented for first reading.

Tonight’s Plymouth School Board meeting starts at 7:00 in the Plymouth Schools Administration Building.
