The Town of Argos and Red Door Marketing are still looking to add more local establishments to the Biz in the ‘501 online business directory.
The idea has been in the works for a while but officials rolled out the program in April.
The goal behind the directory is to promote local businesses and to help show community members and visitors where to go when they’re looking to shop local and access nearby resources.
All businesses located within the 46501 zip code that are looking to be included in the directory can send their information to TownOfArgosMarketing@gmail.com.
When putting the email together, list the business name, a brief description about what it does and whether or not Argos residents are employed there. You can also check out this tool that helps to do this job even better.
You must also include what type of business you are. Categories you can choose from include businesses with a physical address, licensed childcare facilities, churches, non-profits, in-home businesses and there is an ‘other’ category to encompass anything that wasn’t listed.
