The Marshall County Council members will meet today.
It will be the first meeting of the year with new council members Jack Roose and Mandy Campbell.
Health Administrator Christine Stinson will discuss a lead testing grant application while Sheriff Matt Hassel will present the 2019 Sheriff Contract. Commission President Kevin Overmyer will talk about the OCRA Broadband Grant application and Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will request a part-time Community Corrections officer and a fiscal year Community Corrections grant application request.
The Marshall County Economic Development Corporation is looking to brand Marshall County. MCEDC President and CEO Jerry Chavez will have that discussion along with Lou Pierce from the Big Idea Company.
Additional appropriation and transfer requests will be considered for the Community Corrections Fiscal Year 2018.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
