The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where they will consider the second and third readings of an ordinance that would rezone certain property within the jurisdiction of the town and its two-mile jurisdiction.
Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim said a developer has interest in a commercial development which would be on the north side of State Road 10 just west of the north junction with State Road 17. A public hearing gathered no comments at the council’s last meeting.
A public hearing concerning additional appropriations included in a proposed ordinance will be held with the first reading of that ordinance anticipated later in the meeting. The council members will also review sidewalk snow removal quotes as well as an amended agreement with Culver Academies that includes an easement change.
Updates will be given about the recent Regional Stellar Communities Designation project presentation and the Culver Stellar plans.
Prior to the regular meeting, the Culver Town Council members will hold a work session at 5 p.m. ET to discuss the salary ordinance with potential changes in EMS fees. The regular council meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET with both meetings to be held in the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street.
