The Marshall County Council members will meet today where Health Administrator Christine Stinson will discuss the introduction of a task force to determine the feasibility of a county sewer district.
Matt Pitney and Sheriff Matt Hassel will ask for the council’s permission to apply for a grant to obtain a piece of recording equipment for 911 and other calls at the sheriff’s department. They will also request permission to apply for the DARE/Drug Free Community Grant.
In other items, Marshall County Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will ask for an interim Pre-Trial Quality Assurance Coordinator. The council members will consider an intergovernmental agreement for the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Communities Initiative and hold a budget discussion along with the consideration of several budget ordinances.
The Marshall County Council members will meet at 9 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
