Marshall County’s application to INDOT’s next round of Community Crossings grant awards is nearly ready.
Highway Supervisor Jason Peters advised the Marshall County Commissioners this week of the projects he will be submitting.
“The projects that are listed are Dogwood from the County Line to U.S. 6, 11th Road from South Michigan to U.S. 31, North Michigan Street from the City Limits to the roundabout, and Dogwood from State Road 331 to U.S. 6.
The county will have to provide a 25 percent match for whatever projects are approved in the matching grant program.
The application will be completed when the bridge asset management plan is reviewed by the Local Technical Assistance Program. Peters mentioned that the list has also been sent to MACOG.
The deadline to submit applications is Friday, Sept. 28.
