Marshall County Commissioners Approve Agreement for Stone Storage

Marshall County Highway Supervisor Jason Peters presented an agreement to the commissioners this week between the county and Wayne Houin for stone storage on Houin’s property on Jarrah Road.

The paperwork specifies the county’s use of three acres there. The county has been storing stone at that location for a PAR project and it will be out of that location next year so Houin’s farming processes can resume.

The county and Houin have agreed at a price of $200 an acre to leave it there for the time being.
