Plymouth School Board to Consider Student Reading Lists, Nurse Agreement Tonight

The Plymouth School Board will make some final preparations tonight, before students return to class tomorrow. Student reading lists for Plymouth High School, the Weidner School of Inquiry, and Lincoln Junior High School will be up for board approval.

Board members will also consider the school nurse agreement for the 2018-2019 school year. Under the proposal, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center would provide seven registered nurses and two health aides for a cost of nearly $367,000. The school board will also be asked to approve some changes to the conditions of employment for classified staff, including an adjustment to the reimbursement of bus drivers for certain fees and certifications.

In other business tonight, the school board will review the corporation’s emergency plan, get its annual report on the Marshall County Alternative High School, and receive its monthly update on the construction of the new Lincoln Junior High School.

Tonight’s Plymouth School Board meeting starts at 7:00 at the Plymouth Schools Administration Building.
