The Plymouth City Council members reviewed the salary ordinance for appointed officers and employees, fire and police personnel for the 2019 budget year.
The proposed increase is for two percent. Police Chief David Bacon and Airport Manager Bill Sheley asked for variances for personnel in their departments.
The first reading of the salary ordinance was passed.
Budget hearings will begin soon.
