Plymouth West Lake Street Water Main Extension Moves Forward

Even though a couple of items have come up in the W. Lake Street water main extension project, Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members this week that the project is going smoothly now.

Davidson said the piping should be in the ground by today. Once that is done, testing can start today or by Monday at the latest. A bacteria test should take two days. If all goes well, the line should be in service by mid-week next week. Davidson said it’s important as officials from Autumn Trace will need service to complete construction at the site.

The Autumn Trace project will be an assisted living facility.
