A salary ordinance amendment was discussed this week that would establish a part-time rate for a clerical position at the Marshall County Highway Department.
Auditor Julie Fox explained to the Marshall County Council members this week that there previously wasn’t a rate set for that position that was created. She noted that the part-time pay range of $9.07 to $12.10 is in line with all of the other department part-time wages.
The council members approved the salary ordinance amendment as presented with a unanimous vote.
