The Culver Town Council members considered an amendment to the salary ordinance this week.
A proposed change was made where the EMS Vice Director position would be eliminated and replaced with a full-time ALS-EMT2 position with an hourly range of $11.75-$17.50.
The ordinance amendment also changes the previous park intern position to an assistant park superintendent with an hourly range of $12.00 to $15.00 an hour. A work session was recently held to discuss park department positions and this was the change recommended from that session. The assistant park superintendent does not necessarily need to be filled, but this ordinance amendment creates an option to do so.
The second reading of the salary ordinance amendment was approved with a unanimous vote.
