The Marshall County Commissioners will meet this morning. They will receive information from the Shady Rest Committee concerning the committee’s favorable recommendation of an addiction recovery program to be conducted in the Shady Rest Home facility on Lincoln Highway in Plymouth.
Highway Supervisor Jason Peters will have an update from the highway department and Laurie Johnson from DLZ will have report. Shannon McLeod will discuss the OCRA grant that, if awarded, will help fund a proposed multi-purpose building at the Marshall County 4-H Fairgrounds. Sheriff Matt Hassel will discuss a vehicle purchase and the 2017 DEA Equitable sharing report. Treasurer Angie Birchmeier will request the extension of operating hours to accommodate property tax collections and Culver Town Manager Jonathan Leist will discuss an interlocal plan service agreement. Building Inspector Chuck DeWitt is also expected to give his annual report to the commissioners.
The commissioners will consider amending the 2018 handbook.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
