The Marshall County Health Board is still one board member short even after the commissioners’ appointment of one seat at the recommendation of Marshall County Health Department Administrator Christine Stinson as recently approved by the health board members.
Stinson asked the commissioners to consider Sandy Reed who has an extensive background in the health field. She studied to be Registered Nurse specializing in community health and she has also served in the capacity of health educator with Purdue University and St. Joseph Health Network.
The commissioners approved the appointment of Sandy Reed to the Marshall County Health Board. One seat remains open. A Democrat needs to be appointed. Stinson said she’d like to have another school superintendent on the board, but will review letters of interest from any Democrat willing serve.
