The Marshall County Commissioners discussed the transfer of two parcels of land to the Town of Argos.
County Attorney Jim Clevenger told the commissioners Monday morning that the town is requesting the transfer of two parcels near the industrial area for future plans. The county has the tax certificates of the desired parcels and can simply transfer ownership to the Town of Argos as the commissioners have done for other municipalities.
Clevenger presented a resolution authorizing the transfer of the real estate. Officials with the Town of Argos would need to adopt a similar resolution to complete the transaction.
The council commissioners voted unanimously to approve the resolution as presented.
