A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 7 for the construction of a 50,000 square foot manufacturing center in Argos.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez says the building will be built within Argos’ 75 acre industrial park. The building will be expandable up to 300,000 square feet and will have access to high speed fiber.
This construction is in anticipation of attracting industry to the Town of Argos with a building and infrastructure ready to welcome new jobs to the area. The Argos Manufacturing Center is a Regional Cities funded project which was awarded $400,000 by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation this summer.
The event to get the project underway is set for Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. at 151 Dewey Street in Argos, near the corner of West Street and Dewey Street.
