The recent storm activity has left crews in Bremen cleaning up debris.
Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy said the street and utility crews have been picking up tree limbs and brush since Monday morning’s storm brought fierce winds. Thirty trees fell during the storms and work is being done to rid the area of the mess after that impact.
Marshall County Highway Department workers were also out in that part of the county assisting residents with the clearing of debris left by severe thunderstorms on Friday morning. Power was out for hours while residents and officials scrambled to assess damage.
The Marshall County Council members praised the highway department on their efforts and the Bremen Town Council also applauded their crews on a job well done.
