The Town of Argos will present its new comprehensive plan to the public next week. A steering committee made up of residents, community leaders, and town officials has been working on the Argos 2030 Comprehensive Plan since the summer, and a public input session was held in October.

Now, committee members will present a draft of the plan during an open house on Monday. Not only will the event will give residents a chance to learn about the plan, but it’s also another opportunity for them to give their comments and ideas.

Monday’s open house will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Argos Jr. – Sr. High School Auditorium. The draft plan can be viewed on the town’s website. Copies will also be available at the Argos Municipal Building or the Argos Public Library.

According to the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation, the comprehensive plan will help guide community improvements over the next five to 10 years and create solutions to some of the challenges Argos faces. The town’s last comprehensive plan was completed over 10 years ago.
