Two Arrested after Thefts Reported at Plymouth Walmart

Two people were arrested for allegedly stealing from the Plymouth Walmart over the weekend. Plymouth Police say that on Saturday, they got a report of a theft and the suspect fleeing the scene. Officers say they were able to locate Crystal D. Fisher, 47, of Knox, and took her into custody. In addition to theft, Fisher is also accused of making a false sales document.

Rochester Man Arrested for Drug-Related Offenses, following Plymouth Theft Investigation

A Plymouth theft investigation led to the arrest of a Rochester man for drug-related offenses. Plymouth Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon near First and Madison streets. They say they were investigating a theft that was reported a few blocks away when they arrested Richard Hinsey, 33, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting law enforcement. Don’t Let a Skimmer Scam Ruin Your Summer

Federal Trade Commission officials are warning motorists to avoid being scammed by skimmers this summer travel season.

A “skimmer” is an illegal card reader that attaches to credit card slots and steals data off of your card’s magnetic strip. They’re used most frequently at gas pumps. Criminals sell this info or use it to buy items online. Card owners may not even realize their information has been stolen until they receive their statement or an overdraft notice.

Lapaz Resident Reports Moped Theft

A Lapaz resident reported the theft of his moped that reportedly occurred between July 18 and July 19 between 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Church Street in Lapaz.

It is described as a blue 2011 Tao Tao moped. If anyone has any information regarding this theft, call the Jordan Rans with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 574-936-3187.
