Culver School Board Accepts Donations for Reading Program, Costa Rica Trip
Some Culver Community Schools programs will be getting a boost, thanks to a pair of donations accepted by the school board Monday. “Culver’s Lions Club gave the Spanish Club $500 for their Costa Rica trip, and the Culver PTO has given both $500 to the elementary and then to the middle school reading program,” explained Superintendent Karen Shuman.

Marshall County Council Approves Community Crossings Funding Arrangements
The Marshall County Council made some funding arrangements Monday for the county’s Community Crossings projects, but lowered the cushion for potential cost overruns in the process. The state Community Crossings program provides a 50-50 match for road projects. Back in August, Marshall County was awarded a $1 million grant, the maximum available through the program.
