Several Marshall County employees will not become eligible for overtime pay tomorrow, after all. Changes at the federal level that were set to take effect December 1 would have required employees making less than about $47,000 to be eligible for overtime. Earlier this month, the county council approved the change to non-overtime-exempt status for those employees. Continue reading
The City of Plymouth continues making some of the arrangements for its Community Crossings grant application. The state program provides matching funds for street projects. During its last meeting, the Plymouth Common Council decided to go for a million dollars in matching money, the maximum amount available from the program. Continue reading
