The City of Plymouth may dip into its Rainy Day Fund to keep the Dr. Susan Bardwell Aquatic Center open, but there’s still some question about whether the city can legally do that. The city council agreed Monday to take up a $150,000 additional appropriation request at an upcoming meeting.

Budding businesses are bound to benefit from a generous donation provided to the Bremen Public School Entrepreneurship Program.
This is an opportunity that’s offered at the elementary, middle and high school. Superintendent Dr. Jim White previously shared that the goal behind the program is to plant the seeds of entrepreneurship into the minds of students early on.
Recently, the school board approved a $2,500 donation from Rick Miller, of Miller Insurance to assist with associated costs at the high school level. Continue reading
