Multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning near Plymouth. It happened around 11:30 at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Plymouth-Goshen Trail, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.

Back in November, the city council agreed to annex 44 acres near Plymouth/Goshen Trail and Randolph Street for the Centennial Crossing development. A revised ordinance was presented to the Plymouth City Council members last week that deals with the annexation of about 40 acres into the city of Plymouth that is along Plymouth/Goshen Trail and Randolph Street on the north side of Centennial Park.
Five Injured in Wednesday Afternoon Crash Near Bremen
Five people were hurt in a crash last week at 4th Road and Plymouth-Goshen Trail. Marshall County Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon around 4:15. Officers believe Richard Grounds II, 30, of Bremen, was driving a 2005 Chevy Tahoe east on 4th Road, when he drove into the path of a 2007 Nissan Sentra that was heading south on Plymouth-Goshen Trail.

The Marshall County Commissioners will take action to limit semi truck traffic on county roads to help sustain the condition of the infrastructure.
Investigation Ongoing in Property Damage Accident
The Plymouth Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a property damage accident that occurred in the area of Plymouth-Goshen Trail and Randolph Drive just after 1 a.m. on Thursday.
Two Injured in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash Friday Night
Icy road conditions are being blamed for a rollover crash that left two people injured Friday night. Marshall County Police say it happened at 10:42 p.m. near 4th Road and Plymouth-Goshen Trail.
Road Work Planned Today, Watch for Closures
Plymouth-Goshen Trail in Marshall County will be closed as crews work to crack seal the road. Marshall County Highway Supervisor Jason Peters said the work will be done from city limits to U.S. 30 over the next couple of days. The road is being prepared for chip and seal work.
Peters said the chip and seal work will be done on several county roads and will take approximately one month to complete. He urges motorists to drive carefully on these roads with the new surface. Reduce your speed and drive with care so the loose road surface doesn’t cause damage to vehicles.
