World’s Largest One Day Leadership Conference Scheduled for May 5

The world’s largest one day leadership conference will be simulcast for interested attendees on Friday, May 5 at 8:30 a.m. at the Swan Lake Resort. The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event.

The theme of this year’s Leadercast conference is “Powered by Purpose”. The seven speakers planned for the event will help attendees discover the steps they need to uncover their organization’s purpose, to reconnect to their organization’s mission, and to attract and engage the right people for effort and to thrive as a team.

Plymouth Chamber Conducting Jack Greenlee Memorial Food Drive

The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce is collecting items for a local food pantry in memory of a late public servant. Jack Greenleee died last month at the age of 85. He served as mayor from 1992-2000. Greenlee is credited with establishing the Annual Prayer Breakfast and Christmas Parade. He also served on the county board and city council. Mayor Mark Senter recently presented Greenlee a Key to the City. Continue reading

Kankakee Valley Broadcasting Celebrates MAX 98.3 FM Launch

Join the staff of Kankakee Valley Broadcasting for today’s ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the launch of WYMR-FM, MAX 98.3. The 6,000 watt radio station is licensed in Culver and Plymouth and is a sister station to K99.3 WKVI FM and Kountry KVI 1520 AM, both of which are licensed in Knox. The stations share an air staff and news department and play a similar mix of hit music from the 1970s through present day. Continue reading

Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Helps Local Families in Need

The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce is doing their part to help families in need this holiday season. They have a Christmas tree on display for individuals and businesses to decorate with new pairs of socks. Donations will be collected until Dec. 19th at the chamber office at 120 North Michigan Street in Plymouth. Collected socks will be donated to the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. The nonprofit social service agency collects clothing donations to help the community.
