Plymouth Officials Celebrate Love’s Grand Opening

Love's Ribbon CuttingThe new Love’s Truck Stop on U.S. 30 west of Plymouth is officially open for business following a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony.

The soft open was a month ago, but district manager John Joseph says they wanted to make sure everything was set before the celebration. Love’s operates stores in 40 states, and Joseph says setting up shop in Plymouth was a logical move. He says it’s a good route heading north from Indianapolis up U.S. 31 and also offers an alternative for Chicago-bound travelers.

The new store has a total of 62 employees and features a 24-hour, full-service Hardee’s restaurant, tire shop and upscale convenience store. Love’s motto is ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces.’ Joseph says they’re known nationwide for the quality of their restrooms.

The tire shop offers a full line of mechanical services for 18-wheelers and up to eight different tire brands.

After Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the store, Joseph presented a donation on behalf of Love’s to Marshall County Blessings in a Backpack. He says each new store contributes to a local nonprofit as part of their grand opening festivities. The organization works to equip local youngsters with school supplies.
