A not-for-profit is kicking-off a major fundraising effort starting on Thursday.
The United Way of Marshall County says Dine Out for United Way 2015 will start at Burger King on Michigan Street and Mooney’s Ice Cream in Plymouth. The idea is that the restaurants will donate a portion of their sales that day to the United Way.
The ‘All Indiana’ campaign is aimed at helping non-profit organizations of Indiana acquire $10 million in one day. The mission of the campaign is to assist the Hoosier community with a 24-hour fund-raising campaign for local charity organizations. Continue reading
An area not-for-profit will soon begin construction on another home.
Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County says it is ready to break ground on its 17th family home. The group dedicates itself to ensuring every person has what they consider a decent place to live.
A local not-for-profit was able to raise funds and raise awareness through a weekend bowling event.
Ounce of Prevention hosted their 2nd annual Bowling for Ta Ta’s event. The gathering allowed bowlers to participate over two different time periods on Saturday night.
