Several Plymouth officials are keeping their seats for another term. Redevelopment commission members Billy Ellinger and Mike Miley were reappointed by the city council last week for another year, while Craig Hopple, Tom Pedavoli, Nancy Felde were reappointed to the commission by Mayor Mark Senter.

Plymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller appeared before the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission on Tuesday night asking for funding for a new fire truck.

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will hear from Sheriff Matt Hassel and Marshall County 9-1-1 Director Matt Pitney who will discuss telephone provider Indiana Electronics, while Health Administrator Christine Stinson will recommend the reappointment of Craig Miller, M.D. to the Marshall County Board of Health.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today.
Highway Supervisor Jason Peters will provide an update on the summer work schedule and other items from the department. Boys and Girls Club President Art Jacobs will present information about the Plymouth/Bremen organization this morning while Sheriff Matt Hassel will discuss the jail.
Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter presented the resignation of Plymouth Redevelopment Commission member Dan Tyree to the commission members Tuesday night. Tyree recently served as the president of the organization.
Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter and City Council members unanimously approved all appointments as presented during Wednesday night’s city council meeting. The council appointed Billy Ellinger and Mike Miley to the Redevelopment Commission. Each of them will serve a 1-year term, ending December 31st 2018.
The Mayor’s report included appointing Ken Houin and Joe Mersch to the Aviation Commissioners, Robert Listenberger to the Park and Recreation Board and Art Jacobs to the Board of Zoning Appeals. Each of those members will serve 4-year terms, ending December 31st 2021. Continue reading
