Hostetler and Stan Klotz. Three candidates are also looking to become the next Marshall County Recorder: Anna “Buffy” Breeding, William Cleavenger, and Janet Howard.
The first day of candidate filing ended with a few contested races in Marshall County. The county recorder’s race already has two candidates: Republicans Janet Howard and Anna “Buffy” Breeding. Meanwhile, current recorder Marlene Mahler is running against Bruce Snyder for Union Township trustee.
An agreement with Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) was presented to the Marshall County Commissioners last week to perform the final pictometry flight in a six-year process.
