The Town of Bremen continues to assess damage done to buildings and grounds during the recent flood event.
Furnace and cooling units at the wastewater treatment facility will be replaced. An insurance claim was able to cover the cost of replacing those items, and more assessments are being made to other equipment and buildings that were damaged at the end of February.
The preliminary figures are in concerning the amount of flood damage sustained on Marshall County roads.
Marshall County Supervisor Jason Peters gave the cost estimates to the county commissioners on Monday morning.
Those needing to rebuild after the flooding event in Marshall County will not need to pay permit fees to do so.
The Marshall County Commissioners unanimously approved a request from Marshall County Plan Director Ralph Booker and Building Commissioner Chuck DeWitt to waive permit fees for those affected by flood waters. DeWitt asks that anyone needing to rebuild must report that activity to his office.
Generally, Chemical Waste Disposal requires a level of care and attention beyond what is usually required needed when disposing of normal waste.Hence,the Marshall County Recycle Depot is the county’s headquarters for recycling and household chemical and hazardous waste disposal. Sometimes, EZ Staten Island Junk Removal is hired for such waste disposals.
