Plymouth Resident Arrested for Allegedly Dealing Meth
A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of dealing drugs.
Plymouth police were called to the Dollar General store at 328 Kingston on a report of shoplifting. When officers confronted the suspect, Ronnie Lister, they reportedly found him in possession of six baggies of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Bourbon Town Council Discusses Infrastructure Extension for New Development
The Bourbon Town Council received a request to extend utilities to a new Dollar General store on State Road 331 south of U.S. 30.
In order to install the infrastructure required to satisfy the needs of the facility, the town would need to get underneath State Road 331. The council agreed to investigate costs and discuss the issue further at a future meeting.
Bourbon Town Council Discusses Zoning Change for New Business
The Bourbon Town Council reviewed a proposal of a zoning change recommended by the planning commission to make way for a new Dollar General store on U.S. 331 south of U.S. 30.
Several people were in attendance to hear the discussion, according to Clerk-Treasurer Kimberly Berger. She said that many people were in favor of the zoning change from residential to general business on a parcel in the 1400 block of N. Main Street in order to move the process forward.

Police Believe Dollar General Robberies Connected
The man who robbed the Dollar General store in Plymouth Friday evening is believed to have struck in North Judson yesterday. Police there say a man in a white baseball cap, black sweatshirt and jeans walked into the store around 4:45 p.m., waited until the clerk was alone, demanded money and left on foot. Continue reading
