Culver Schools Superintendent Vicki McGuire is is resigning from the position to take over as superintendent at a school corporation in Central Indiana. The Eastern Hancock school corporation has announced that McGuire will be its new superintendent starting January 1, after she signs a three-and-a-half-year contract with the corporation Monday morning. The corporation’s treasurer Casey Howard told the school board during a study session on next year’s budget Monday it looks as though the state will be cutting nearly $2 million of Culver Schools’ funding in 2016.
