In order to bring food to Marshall County families in need, the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Bread of Life Community Food Pantry for a fall food drive throughout the month of November.
The food pantry is currently in need of soup, cereal, peanut butter, mac-n-cheese and other pasta, rice, mashed potatoes and dried beans. Continue reading
The Bread of Life Community Food Pantry does so much for Marshall County but currently, the volunteer-driven organization is looking for a little help in return. The interesting thing is that you can help simply by shopping online.
The nonprofit recently moved locations to the north side of Plymouth. They have the option to purchase the building so they are currently fundraising to acquire funds for the down payment of $40,000. The total price of the building is $165,000 and the loan needs to be procured prior to February of 2019.

National Food Bank Week is acknowledged annually in October to help food pantries prepare for the upcoming holiday season. Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth is doing their part by hosting a food drive through the 21st.
The local assisted living facility will be collecting paper products and non-perishable food items at their front desk all week. All items collected will go to the Bread of Life Community Food Pantry.
