A member of the Plymouth Police Force has decided to retire, but whether or not his firearm is coming with him remains to be seen.
Officer Ted Brown worked with the Plymouth Police Department for more than 20 years, and most recently became the Director of School Safety for the Plymouth School Corporation.

The Culver Town Council will return to an item that left a couple of questions at their meeting tonight.
The Town found itself unable to move forward with the replacement of the roof at the Town Hall and the Sewer building. The work was originally bid in March, but the company awarded the work did not include the price of labor in their work.

While the good use of cannabis ranges from cbd drops for dogs, people are still on the illegal use of marijuana. A 26-year-old Knoxville, Tennessee man was taken into custody on Friday following a traffic stop.
Plymouth Police conducted the stop on Kasey Stonerburner for a traffic violation. According to officers, Stonerburner became uncooperative before allegedly fleeing the scene on foot.

The drivers of two tractor-trailers involved in fiery Saturday morning crash on U.S. 30 at Queen Road suffered minor injuries, according to officials with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. They responded around 7:30 a.m. to the wreck in the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 at Queen Road.

Ancilla is hosting a 24 hour fundraiser on June 24th that encourages supporters to donate to the local junior college and assist them in finishing out the fiscal year strong. On this day people are prompted to make a donation of at least $24 to the Ancilla fund which provides financial aid to students. Ninety-three percent of Ancilla College students receive financial aid and 43 percent of student families are in a category that can afford zero dollars toward tuition. Continue reading

A pair of local communities are among the recipients of grants from the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation. Statewide more than $370,000 was given to 101 recipients in 61 counties for critical needs. Eligible projects include equipping emergency responders with personal protective equipment, acquiring equipment for use by emergency responders, providing radios and technology equipment and training for emergency responders.
