Another Plymouth resident was sentenced in Marshall County Superior court to prison time on meth related counts.
21-year-old Olivia Ketcham was facing charges of Conspiracy to Deal in Methamphetamine. That’s a Class B Felony. As part of a plea deal, Ketcham admitted in court that she assisted another individual in the delivery of meth to a confidential informant.
A flash flood watch is in effect for Northern Indiana through this evening. The National Weather Service warns thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will spread over the area this morning and continue through this afternoon. A plant with the potential to cause harmful side effects is sprouting in Northern Indiana this month.
According to Purdue Extension, Poison Hemlock can be found along roadsides, farm fields, and railroad tracks. The plant is considered a biennial – which means it lives over the course of two years. The stalk can grow between three and eight feet tall.

A Plymouth woman was sentenced to in prison after she pleaded guilty to dealing methamphetamine.
39-year-old Tessa Mullins was sentenced on Wednesday in Marshall County Superior Court.

A man was killed on Monday night in Marshall County after authorities say he walked into the street.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call that someone was struck by a vehicle.
Marshall County authorities have made an arrest in a Saturday incident that resulted in a large amount of blood on Main Street in LaPaz.
The Sheriff’s Department was contacted around midnight about a male victim bleeding profusely. Officers arrived on scene and located what they described as fresh blood, but did not locate a victim.
Funeral services are scheduled tomorrow for the LaPaz man whose body was pulled from the Tippecanoe River near Leiters Ford late Friday night. Aaron Eckman was 20. Authorities say he fell in the river in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 17. Continue reading

While the good use of cannabis ranges from cbd drops for dogs, people are still on the illegal use of marijuana. A 26-year-old Knoxville, Tennessee man was taken into custody on Friday following a traffic stop.
Plymouth Police conducted the stop on Kasey Stonerburner for a traffic violation. According to officers, Stonerburner became uncooperative before allegedly fleeing the scene on foot.

The drivers of two tractor-trailers involved in fiery Saturday morning crash on U.S. 30 at Queen Road suffered minor injuries, according to officials with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. They responded around 7:30 a.m. to the wreck in the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 at Queen Road.
