Work is still progressing on a facilities upgrade project at the Plymouth School Corporation.
Construction was started earlier this year on the football field and the administration building, but the Plymouth School Board received an update on the project on Tuesday night. Superintendent Dan Tyree says the expansion of the school corporation’s administration building got back on course after a bit of a hiccup rerouting city water pipes.

Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter has decided to weigh-in on an investigation into an alleged attack on the Greenway Trail in Plymouth.
The Plymouth School Board has decided to incentivize some of its teachers to obtain greater levels of education.
Two years ago, the Indiana General Assembly devised rules allowing salary increases for teachers teaching AP and Dual Credit courses. The catch is the teacher overseeing the dual credit courses must possess a Master’s Degree and undergo 18 hours of graduate coursework in that subject by 2020 to receive the stipend.
The Marshall County EMA will leave a few things as they are, but update a few other items in its Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.

The Plymouth School Board will consider participating once again in the parking for the Marshall County Blueberry Festival.

Indiana drivers will soon be required to move their vehicles out of the roadway after a property damage crash. Starting July 1, if a vehicle involved in an accident comes to a stop in the travel lanes of a public roadway, the driver will be required to move it as soon as possible to a location close to the accident but out of the way of traffic. The lack of a handgun license has landed a Florida man in jail in Marshall County.
Plymouth Police arrested four individuals on drug-related charges following a Friday afternoon traffic stop.
The traffic stop was initiated in the area of Fifth and Madison Street in Plymouth just after Noon. The Plymouth Police Department’s K-9 Unit was present at the scene and indicated to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle.
