Appraisals Taking Place for Monterey School Building
The former Monterey School Building is in the process of being appraised, ahead of a planned sale of the property. Culver Schools Interim Superintendent Chuck Kitchell told the school board Monday that one appraisal was completed a couple of weeks ago and another was scheduled for Tuesday of this week. Ancilla College Planning for Second Annual Day of Giving
Ancilla College will be holding its second annual Day of Giving on Friday, April 29. College officials hope to get a total goal of 200 donors to take part in this year’s event by donating online, and they’re challenging each of those donors to give $24. Development and alumni relations manager Emily Hutsell says this level of donations can change the lives of students at Ancilla, where 90 percent of students receive some sort of financial assistance. Plymouth Cop Busts Counterfeiters During Traffic Stop
A Sunday afternoon traffic stop by a Plymouth Police officer on U.S. 30 near Oak Drive led to the arrests of five Fort Wayne residents on counterfeiting charges. The officer reportedly found numerous counterfeit $100 bills in the vehicle, including uncut copied bills and a printer, according to a news release. Continue reading
