A pair of teenage boys from LaGrange rang in the New Year in the Marshall County Jail following a traffic stop in Bourbon. Shortly after 10 p.m. an officer with the Marshall County Police Department spotted a vehicle traveling 104 miles per hour on U.S. 30 at Gumwood Road, according to the incident report. The Culver Town Council has approved a 2017 salary ordinance for town employees. Earlier this month, Council President Ginny Bess Munroe said a small raise has been budgeted, but most of the actual pay rates are unaffected.
