The Plymouth Fire Department took possession of a new fire engine Wednesday, July 31.
The new fire engine is a 2024 Pierce Velocity pumper. It was delivered on the 42nd anniversary of an accident that claimed the lives of five Plymouth Fire Department firefighters July 31, 1982. It is dedicated to the memory of Al Kriscunas, Dane Hoffhien, Randy Hansen, Brian Samuels, and Gary Van Vactor who lost their lives responding to a call July 31, 1982. The fire truck is named “Engine 82”.
