Plymouth Man Arrested on Suspicion of Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated

A Plymouth man was arrested Sunday, February 2 after a Plymouth Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Madison and Plum Streets for an improper turn.

Police say the vehicle, a white Honda Civic, had made a left turn through a residential yard and continued north on Plum Street just before 1:30 a.m. ET. The vehicle eventually stopped near 806 Plum Street. The driver, 30-year-old Arturo Jurado, attempted to exit the vehicle and was stopped by the officer. Inside the vehicle, officers located multiple empty alcoholic containers, according to the report.

Jurado was reportedly found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. Jurado was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle with a BAC over .15 and for operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
