
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where they will be presented with ordinances pertaining to solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, data centers, and carbon capture.
The commissioners will hear from Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Director Bill Schoff about a fire protection contract. Sheriff Matt Hassel will present a court reform grant agreement with Marshall County Superior Court No. 3 Judge Matthew Sarber, and Sheriff Hassel will have an equitable sharing agreement and certification for approval.
Health Administrator Sandy Dunfee will have several items including a request to apply for a Narcan grant, a Bikes for Kids agreement, Steered Straight agreement, Katie VanTornhout agreement, and a Thomas Kinnaird agreement.
Marshall County Historical Society Museum Executive Director Sandy Garrison and Board President Mike Miley will present their quarterly report and Jeff Jones will discuss Nutmeg Meadows.
The commissioners will review truck estimates.
Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters, County Attorney Sean Surrisi and Auditor Angie Birchmeier will present their regular reports.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
