The Marshall County Council will meet today where they will hold the first reading of the 2025 budget.
The council will hear from CASA Director Chastity Keller about the application of the 2025 state CASA Matching Grant and Capacity Grant. Sheriff Matt Hassel will ask for the acceptance of the Commissary Report. There will be a discussion on the 2024 budget for the Marshall County Plan Commission.
An amendment to the salary ordinance will be reviewed for approval, the council members will make a Culver-Union Township Public Library Board appointment, and they will take action on adjustment to the budget adoption meeting schedule.
Additional appropriations, transfers, and invoices for Lebbin Law and Cender Dalton will be reviewed for approval.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
