Marshall County Commissioners to Meet Today

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where the commissioners will discuss a rooftop unit at the Marshall County Jail with Jail Maintenance Director John Greer.

Leah Thill from the Michiana Area Council of Governments will discuss a Regional Brownfields Coalition Memorandum of Understanding.

A public hearing is planned concerning a property and Plan Director Ty Adley will present an ordinance for consideration.

Gary Neidig from ONE Marshall County will talk about the READI 2.0 grant, and Viki Brown will talk about Dustin’s Place.

The commissioners have several topics of discussion including the Pitney Bowes postage machines, a Marshall County Economic Development Corporation appointment, the Jefferson Street parking lot, a fence right-of-way, a Blueberry Festival joint agreement with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, and WEX Fleet Services.

Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters will provide his regular report, along with County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Angie Birchmeier.

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
