The Marshall County Commissioners approved an Authorizing Resolution and the Council approved the 2025 INDOT grant application request for Executive Director for the Marshall County Council on Aging Janis Holiday.
The Marshall County Council on Aging is the public transit provider for Marshall County. The 5311 operating budget for 2025 is $609,907 with an estimated revenue of $55,000, a federal share of $277,453, and a local match of $277,454, including a state share of $57,707.
The application will also include 5339 capital projects of $213,981 to purchase a replacement low-floor minivan, a replacement medium transit bus, with 80 percent federal share and 20 percent match. All required matching funds will be secured by the Marshall County Council on Aging.
Trips for the quarter were 7,692.
